 Damn! Enough is enough already. This year is turning up to be an embarrassing one as we look at all the rappers who have been arrested or in trouble with the law over the past few months. Lets look at this list. Jay-Z has been in court and indicted for stabbing a fellow record executive. Puffy has been charged with gun possession and bribery. Shyne has been indicted for three counts of attempted man slaughter. No Limit recording artist Mac was indicted for murder. ODB was arrested for parole violation. Two members from Digital Underground were arrested and accused of sexual assault. DMX was arrested for weed possession and speeding. He didn't show up in court last week so now he has another warrant out for his arrest. Foxy Brown crashed her car and was arrested for driving with a suspended license. Now added to this list is Q-Tip. Can you believe this? The week before last Q-Tip had an argument with a man inside The Virgin Megastore at Times Square in NY. The argument stemmed from an incident last summer in which Q-Tip prevented the man from passing out demo tapes in front of a recording studio. Well, to make a long story short, the argument escalated and the man wound up getting his jaw broke from Q-Tip. Last week Q-Tip turned himself in and was charged with third degree assault. He's due back in court on April 22. The victim, Kendrick Miranda is set to sue Q-Tip in civil court over the incident. Now one can't really pass judgement until all the facts are in and the whole court process goes through, but there is no denying there is some sort of pattern going on. Why so many incidents? What in the world is going on? All this is happening in the backdrop of police profiling incidents and shootings from coast to coast. So while some of our own are getting jacked by 'popo', we have some of our most visible superstars going to jail over ridiculous stuff. What in the world is going on?
